Burns Jr., to exclusively represent capital investment in hotel assets with a company of vast professional resources, represented by highly skilled individuals that possess both extensive senior-level experience as hotel operators and accomplishment as business entrepreneurs.
We effectively translate the complexities of hotel ownership into a common perspective to develop the platform that will enhance an asset's value. Although we are a small company, we have tremendous experience in luxury and full-service hotels, in particular. While with Millennium Partners, Mr. Burns was directly responsible for the conceptualization, design, management, all soft cost budgets, pre-opening activities/approvals and the asset management of seven new luxury hotels with Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons from 1997 through 2002. Included in the portfolio, five new Ritz-Carltons: New York Central Park, New York Battery Park, Boston Commons, Washington, D.C., and, Georgetown; two Four Seasons: Miami and San Francisco; as well the acquisition of the original North American Ritz-Carlton in Boston and executed a $50 million renovation of this historic asset. BGI also has extensive experience and accomplishment negotiating contracts on behalf of its clients, including joint venture partnerships agreements, purchase agreements, commercial lease agreements, development agreements and construction contracts with numerous private equity groups, financial institutions, non-profit organizations, and hotel management contracts/pre-commencement/technical service agreements with hotel management companies such as Marriott International, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Starwood Capital Group, Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts, West Paces Hotel Group
